Nazia Andaleeb Preema has done a number of workshops and residency programs all over the world in visual art. She is one of the important contemporary artist’s in Bangladesh art scenario today.

She has participated in over fifty prestigious group expositions round the world (India, Nepal, Thailand, Srilanka, Japan, Canada, USA, UK and China) including five Asian Art Biennale, Trashcan biennale and has 9 successful solo exhibitions in home and abroad along with a virtual show (www.preema.net) in 2003. She also has participated in a number of International Workshops and Residencies in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, U.S.A., Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Bangladesh.

She has been rewarded for her ideas and work from the art fraternity, locally and globally.

Nazia Andaleeb Preema has done her Graduation (BFA) and Masters (MFA) from (drawing and painting department), University of Dhaka. She got her seven years diploma course certificate in Tagore song. Did her fellowship in Visual Arts, from the “Global Art Village” in New Delhi, India. She is a pioneer web master and graphic designer in Bangladesh. She has been working with various prestigious national and multi national companies as a web and graphic design consultant since 1997 till date.

She has become one of the featuring artists at “Manhattan Art Foundation”, USA for 2007.

She is now the Director and Curator of “Preema’s Atelier” (www.preemasatelier.com), a studio of Art and Design.

Her hobby is writing and traveling as an Artist.

She has been working as web and graphic consultant for last ten years. She is now doing her digital experimentation with illumination alone with the traditional techniques.
