International Art Residency program
In 2008 Andaleeb Preema has been to a month
long residency program at "Compeung Art Village"(www.compeung.org) in Chiang
Mai. It is currently one of the top ranking residency program in Asia.
There, she explore local Thai tradition and material to gave a new dimension
to her work. She found the very famous "Thai rice paper" and temple golden
color. The environment have such an impact on her that she finally could
able to accomplished a number of painting and a wall mural painting on her
core project "Staring Women". Minimal Gallery, Chiang Mai host an exhibition
of her work soon after the residency was done.
The works that she produce in Chiang Mai will be showcased by La Gallery,
Alliance Françoise de Dacca from the 3rd of July 2008 till 16 July 2008.
Art Camp for Raising
Fund
This year "Preema's Atelier" helped to organized a fund raising program
for SIDR victim children in Kuakata. 12 renowned artists of the country
has been to Kuakata for a camp and spent some time with this children of
Kuakata, they produce a good number of art works to raise the fund for
the kids.
As Preema is an artist with social
responsibilities and political views. She is inspired to do TV talk shows
lately. And done some popular talk shows in National Television Channels.
Currently she is doing a TV talk show on Short Film Makers of Bangladesh for
local satellite television channel.

She is also editing a monthly magazine, as the visual editor, Bangladesh
Brand Forum Preema is also the editor of creative world for same magazine.
This year probably she will be
having her exhibition in Bangladesh, Norway, India and Pakistan.
She is to launch
