It has been two year that I had my solo exhibition. Actually it was lack of inspiration, infact, I needed something new, something interesting. So in March 2008 I went for my new venture. I went to Compeung Art Village, for an International Art Residency Program. They call it village of creativity. I was there for a month as one the resident artists and found what I was searching for last two year. Found the environment, people, life and other artist’s who are from different parts of the world gave me the energy to rethink my work and reart. The mysterious cotton were flying all around my house, Japanese artist was conceptualizing his “Wednesday Project”, Galleries were full of croppy art as well as unique installations, whole night party and being drunk, whole day painting. Means total freedom, total isolation. And the temples with golden Buddha were the great energy of worship and to create anything. There I found mysterious cotton, Golden strokes and seven colors. I found something interesting, something inspiring. I start painting, I start installing. In my coming exhibition I will exhibit my works from the land of “Mysterious Gold and *Seven Colors”.

*Traditionally it is believed that Buddha spent seven days following his enlightenment thinking of the suffering of all living creatures and how unimportant his life was prior to reaching enlightenment. In Thailand, lot of people wears the same color on a specific day, seven colors to wear during the seven days of the week. From Monday to Sunday, they start the week with yellow, then pink, green, orange, blue, violet and finally red.
